The temperament of ragdolls is devoted, affectionate, and outgoing; and these cats are known for their fearless nature. Ragdolls are slow to mature, and full coat and color is not generally reached until they are 2 years of age. Full size is usually achieved at about 4 years. They are to be kept strictly indoors due to their lack of the normal fighting instinct that other cats possess.

The Ragdoll cats, especially the kittens are very sensitive. So spraying them with the water bottle or scolding them harshly is not recommended.
