Maine Coons retain their kittenish, clown-like personalities throughout their lives. They chirp, which is not quite fitting to their size. They have distinct voices for courting, playing, and calling you for attention. They develop slowly, not reaching their full size until they are 3 to 4 years old. They are "Gentle Giants" with loving, affectionate natures and sweet dispositions. Their loyal companion will never cease to keep one amused with its tricks and habits so typical to the breed. They are very vocal and quite sociable, often following their human from room to room wanting to help you with any projects that you might be doing around the house.

I show my Maine coon cats and truly enjoy it. They are so adaptable to new surroundings. I enjoy watching a young child play at a show while waiting to be judged. I truly love this breed and their inquisitive nature. They are so intelligent and easily to train to do tricks and teach wanted behavior around the house.

I have started to show with a friend or 2 and enjoy and find it to be a fun hobby and competitive for me. Although, it is not my intention to breed for breeders, but for loving and healthy kittens for loving families.

Most adult Maine Coons are typically within the average size and weights of 14 to 18 pounds for males and 9 to 12 pounds for females, but I have had males and females who are larger than average.

I cannot guarantee the size of the kitten, but I have seen many times where the smallest kitten in the litter turns out to be the largest adult at maturity.
